When can I change my ear rings?

I had my ears pierced about 10 years ago. I had ear rings in them for about a year and then decided to take them out and just let my holes grow back. I got my ears redone two weeks ago for a dance and was wondering when I can start changing my ear rings again? The hole never completely grew back… just the center did a bit.
I know the information I was given said wait 6 weeks, but I was wondering if I could do it a little bit earlier since I’ve had my ears done in the same holes before.

      As long as you leave earrings in for the required six weeks, it doesn’t matter if you change them.
